چکیده

Nowadays, more and more RDF data is becoming available on the Semantic Web. While the Semantic Web is generally incomplete by nature, on certain topics, it already contains complete information and thus, queries may return all answers that exist in reality. In this paper we develop a technique to check query completeness based on RDF data annotated with completeness information, taking into account data-specific inferences that lead to an inference problem which is Π 2 -complete. We then identify a practically relevant fragment of completeness information, suitable for crowdsourced, entity-centric RDF data sources such as Wikidata, for which we develop an indexing technique that allows to scale completeness reasoning to Wikidata-scale data sources. We verify the applicability of our framework using Wikidata and develop COOL-WD, a completeness tool for Wikidata, used to annotate Wikidata with completeness statements and reason about the completeness of query answers over Wikidata. The tool is available at http://cool-wd.inf.unibz.it/.

Fine-Grained Access Control for RDF Data on Mobile Devices

Existing approaches for fine-grained access control for RDF data suffer from high overhead, making them ill-suited for mobile devices. This makes it difficult to develop mobile applications that manage personal RDF data in a privacy preserving manner. In this paper we propose a new approach to realise fine-grained access control for mobile devices. We show how fine-grained privacy settings for ...

Attribute-based Fine Grained Access Control for Triple Stores

The maturation of semantic web standards and associated web-based data representations like schema.org have made RDF a popular model for representing graph data and semi-structured knowledge. However, most existing SPARQL endpoint supports simple access control mechanism preventing its use for many applications. To protect the data stored in RDF stores, we describe a framework to support attrib...

Enabling Advanced and Context-Dependent Access Control in RDF Stores

Semantic Web databases allow efficient storage and access to RDF statements. Applications are able to use expressive query languages in order to retrieve relevant metadata to perform different tasks. However, access to metadata may not be public to just any application or service. Instead, powerful and flexible mechanisms for protecting sets of RDF statements are required for many Semantic Web ...

The Effect of Geopolymerization on the Unconfined Compressive Strength of Stabilized Fine-grained Soils

This study focuses on evaluating the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of improved fine-grained soils. A large database of unconfined compressive strength of clayey soil specimens stabilized with fly ash and blast furnace slag based geopolymer were collected and analyzed. Subsequently, using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), a model has been developed to assess the UCS of stabi...

On Partial Encryption of RDF-Graphs

In this paper a method for Partial RDF Encryption (PRE) is proposed in which sensitive data in an RDF-graph is encrypted for a set of recipients while all non-sensitive data remain publicly readable. The result is an RDF-compliant self-describing graph containing encrypted data, encryption metadata, and plaintext data. For the representation of encrypted data and encryption metadata, the XML-En...
